And The Lottery Winner Is..

5th: Toronto Maple Leafs
4th: New York Islanders
3rd: Montreal Canadiens
2nd: Columbus Blue Jackets
1st: Edmonton Oilers

Winner of Lottery: Edmonton Oilers

Really scary 1st line, Hall-RNH-Yakupov(Or Eberle if they keep the line together)

Edmonton fans, would you rather trade down for a d-man or keep yakupov?

Trade down with Montreal, they might get something out of it, and Eberle is going to be way better than Yakupov and is a better fit, trade down and take Murray or Dumba, its just what Edmonton needs, but I mean they should actually try next year.

Yakupov top six of
Hall-Hopkins-eberle
Hemsky-ganger-yakupov
Or trade Hemsky(hopefully) and have Hartikainen or move hall to center
Hartikainen-Hopkins-eberle
Hemsky/paajarvi-hall-yakupov

How is that line 'scary' when 2/3rds of that line managed to get that team to 2nd worst in the NHL?

Because every team's fate is decided by 2 players. Thats why Tampa Bay was so good this year

Hmm, I'd think Edmonton would be better served by trying to trade down a few spots for a defenseman or defensive prospects and then draft another defenseman.

Yakupov's good, but I don't think he's superstar level, and they really need some semblance of a defense.
