Quite honest i don't know what to give up for him.

If we go by his value right now the price is steep.
But soner or later he will match his age and with our luck it will happen exactly the year we trade for him.

Well it's written in the description.

Adding a 30 goal scorer by substracting a 30 goal scorer isn't improving the offense.

The only way to do so would be trading defense, goalie or picks.


So i don't get the asking for Kings offense guys.

I agree. If the Kings can add some more scoring punch on the 3rd line it would help a lot. Some of that may come from internal growth, but a vet that is responsible in his own end that is a sure thing to score 15 goals on the 3rd line would be nice.

Unfortunatly for you, the kings don't have much in valuable picks to augment whatever it is you want to trade for that high end scorer, and frankly none of your defensemen are good enough to warrent that type of addition. That means you'd be looking at trading quicke plus for them, and even then you'd be SOL because you don't have any picks to augment your offer. Goalies just aren't worth as much as top scorers these days. You will not be able to get a major upgrade without trading a forward. Brown is probably the odd man out in this situation, as he is a high 20s goal scorer, that brings enough other then goals to warrent the swap. Your GM put you in a difficult situation to aquire any other big time scorers through trade with the carter deal. What offer would you make to get a Vanek or a Nash or any other 39 goal scorer without trading a forward?
