Hawks just released a few 100-level pairs for Games 1/2

Got a pair just now for Tuesday's game.

Not cheap, but better than paying StubHub.

Just curious why paying Ticketmaster is better than paying Stubhub...

Ticketmaster from the team, not Ticketexchange ones, are face value. Stubhub isn't.

The great thing about living in a non hockey town is that most of the Kings and Ducks tickets you'll find on Stubhub are less than face value.

Damn, even playoffs?

When the Hawks sucked it was that way. And Cubs and Sox tix on stubhub are dirt cheap right now. There were $3 cubs tickets on Easter. Would've never seen that 5 years ago.

i'd say you can still find a better deal on stubhub than most non face value websites. especially if you wait till almost the last minute that the tickets are available

No not the case with playoffs. I'm just not a fan of the monopoly Ticketmaster has on all tickets. They get like $8 per ticket for doing what exactly?? Emailing me a pdf??

but ticketmaster is the way to go if you can somehow get tix. or just buying them at the game which is probably impossible nowadays.

maybe chicago should get another nhl team?

I absolutely loathe Ticketmaster. Whenever I go to a concert I pay at the door. I'm done paying $10 in charges on a $15 ticket.

The day the tickets went on sale, I picked up a single for both those games.

I'm hoping that the guy who promised me a ticket for Round 1 will have a single for either game 3 or 6 instead of the game 4 he said he'd have for me, because I don't think I'd be able to make it to that game!

I'd rather watch on TV than go to a game alone, but whatever floats your boat.

I end up not in my seat for about half the game anyways, because I have a regular group I always meet up with, and some of them sit right by one of the corner bars, so I sometimes stand there. I also find myself often talking about the game and the team with people around me regardless of if I know them or not...I'm ok with singles.

Thank you so much for posting this. Since you did, I'm going to the third home game of round two. I am likely to see Game 6 against Vancouver at the UC if necessary. I appreciate you letting us all know. I'm going to have some fun with my dad and buddy at the game.
