I have no idea what to expect this game either. We've been awful at starting games and excellent in the 2nd and 3rd periods. This behavior has to stop now.

I really think the Pens are at a disadvantage with all of the critics picking them, Vegas making them the cup favorites.

In years past we've gone into playoff series with the Pens in our heads. I think times have changed here, new faces, new attitudes new energy.

I really like our chances in 7 games. Fleury has to be just as good, if not better than Bryz to win it for the Pens. Strange no one is really talking about that.

And finally, tomorrow night will be the first time I take down, remove the tags and wear my Hartnell WC jersey I got as a gift on Valentine's day. Hopefully this is a lucky charm.

Wellwood-Read-Voracek could be the x-factor line. That speed is ridiculous. We can get some favorable matchups against their bottom pairing.

Got to hit, push, annoy Letang. Get under his skin. Take him out of the game, slow him down, put him in a penalty box.

I'm not even worried about it. Young team with some vets that have been there before. I'm sure the young guys know they have to leave it all on the ice because you never know. You might not ever make it to the SC.

You can only become playoff proven if you get a chance to play in the playoffs.

Im honestly not too worried about the rookies. Could be Jagr just fluffing them up abit, but he said they look excited and ready to go.

I agree. Just counteracting his argument for what he thought could be a line to give the Pens a lot of trouble. They could also be a line that has a lot of trouble due to their inexperience. That is all.

I can't consider Couturier or Read a typical rookie either. Especially Couturier, rarely makes mistakes.

Always wanted to ask this.

How is Crosby "good for hockey and the NHL"? The NHL seemed to be completely normal when he was gone and Pittsburgh attendance stayed the same. I don't get why exactly he is so needed. How many people watch the NHL for ONLY Crosby?

I thought Niskanen was a 100% sure for Game 1...hmmm.

Anyways, I'm so excited for our rookies to get their first taste of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!! It'll be even better if they find a way to win this game

To me we win this series if Bryz plays like he did post All Star break. This is why he was brought in, time to proove.
