Can't watch the playoffs

Man, I had the NHL Center Ice Package, and I've seen every Flyers game this season (I watch every Flyers game and every Canucks game).

I expected to be able to watch the playoffs... Apparently, no can do...

Center Ice doesn't play them... And, I looked... Only game I can see is on CNBC -- The Red Wings game tonight. This really sucks....

Closer to the finals, that NBC Sports channel will probably play some games, and the Stanley Cup. But, I was planning all week to watch the Flyers play the Penguins...

Watch a stream, man. That's how I'll be viewing the entirety most likely.

There are several online streams. I would never pay for center ice, it's absolute crap. Poor quality and can't see "in-market" games...even though I have no broadcasts of the games in my area.

Online streams are free and about equal in quality.

CBC.CA is streaming all their games (Vancouver Series) TSN.CA has no mention that they'll stream the Flyers-Pens Series but earlier in the season, they publicized that they would stream their playoff games.

It should be on NBC Sports tonight, no?

I had it on the tv - not on the computer....

WHat links do I use to watch it? I really don't wanna watch it on the computer. But, I suppose I would choose that over nothing.

Links for two services are always placed near the top of each GDT, one was provided earlier in this thread.

When a regular season game was broadcast on NBC-TV (not the channel formerly known as VERSUS), there was a method to watch the broadcast online via NBC's website without a fee. However, the luxury of a stream was not provided for games aired on NBC Sports (what was known as VERSUS).

The carriers are listed at the top of each GDT, too. For tonight: TSN, NBCSN, RDS, CSN-PH (HD), ROOT (HD) and that is how NHL.com lists the outlets, too.

According to NBCSports website the game is on at 730. Maybe different zip codes aren't showing it?

Maybe in the Philly and Pittsburgh markets, the local outlets have the lone broadcasts. Otherwise, NBC Sports will show the game nationally in the US. In Philly and Pittsburgh, NBC Sports could be airing something else so not to conflict with the local broadcasts.

Tonight's game: TSN, NBCSN, RDS, CSN-PH (HD), ROOT (HD).

Appreciate it. I'm about 2 hours away in Austin, though (College Station).

I'll look again when I get home. But, I had checked NBC Sports, the free NHL channel, and where all the previous NHL channels for the tv package was. At least I can see it online if I have to.

I see it on NBCSports and CSNPhilly, but I'm in Philly. I'd suggest looking through all of the NBC networks. I see MSNBC has Detroit/Nashville for me maybe it's on a channel like that. Isn't NBC networks supposed to show every playoff game this season?

I see 3 games so far Phi - Pitt, Detroit - Nash, and Van - LA. Is there any other games on tonight?

It is way too complicated for some people to watch sporting events. The content industry is frustrating as hell. Just put the crap online for a reasonable price without blackout restrictions. It's incredibly stupid to reject customers like that.

I only saw the Detroit one listed on 2 different channels. I wanna say it was listed for CNBC AND also the NBC Sports network.

I'd swear that there were more games being shown on various channels for free last year (I didn't have the center ice package then).

I don't see why theyd on't continue the playoffs for the center ice package if there isn't a way to see them all..

Anyway, I'll double check my dish network when I get home

Well, I just checked the DISH website and checked the programming guide for my zip code. NBC sports is playing it. On my tv at 6:30am, the tv channel guide listed it as the Detroit game. They must not have updated the schedule or something. Hopefully it will be on when I get home. Anyway, thanks for the help everyone

Does anybody know if Gamecenter will be playing these games?

I'd look myself, but I figure it's easier to see if someone here knows. Laziness, and such.

So sad that this game (and every one in the series) will be nationally televised in Canada, but not in the US. That's messed up.
