I'd say somewhere around 10-15. I don't know why people say he's already a top 5-10 player of all-time. Don't get me wrong, he's great, but the guy shot his team out of the game quite often throughout his career. He's more like Paul Pierce than Michael Jordan, except Pierce doesn't take 30 shots a game.

Pierce cannot dominate like Kobe can. I have him in the 12-5 range. Can't put him above MJ, Wilt, Russell or Kareem. He's in the realm of Robertson, Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Shaq, West and Moses Malone.

Just outside of top-5.

Jordan, Kareem, Wilt, Bird, Magic would be my top-5.
Russell, Kobe, West, Shaq, Oscar Robertson are probably 6-10.

Kobe is sitting next to Jordan in the VIP room; Paul Pierce is also well-dressed and has a hot chick on his arm, but he's standing in line, outside the club.

I hate comparing post players to guards, but among small players, I go:
1) Magic Johnson
2) Michael Jordan
3) Jerry West
4) Oscar Robertson
5) Kobe Bryant

That said, if I was picking players for a team, I'd rather have the Mamba than either West or Robertson.

Like some others I would throw him outside the Top 5, but certainly above Paul Pierce.
