Playoffs performers and underachievers

Best active playoff performers by team:

Western Conference Edition: http://thehockeywriters.com/is-your-...rence-edition/

Eastern Conference Edition: http://thehockeywriters.com/is-your-...rence-edition/

I hope this helps you with your playoff fantasy drafts.

Kane and Toews are the only players in the West at PPG or better.

Hawks are going straight to the finals, clearly.

Couture isn't really an underachiever, he was playing third line minutes in his first appearance. Last year is more telling in what he can accomplish in the playoffs as he was given more time and better line mates than his first year in the playoffs.

JvR a playoff underperformer?

He had 7 goals in 11 games last year.

His stats are skewed after he was playing bottom line minutes as a rookie in the 2010 playoffs.

Yeah, that's unfair to Couture. He played half those games on the 3rd line as a player who had not even played enough games to lose his rookie of the year award eligibility.

Barrett Jackman is such a big underachiever in the post-season. Wow, what a worthless article. Defensive defenseman being knocked for low point production? Just one of several head-scratchers on that list.

Filppula's PPG in play offs is better than in regular season and he's an underachiever?
For both Sedins it's viceversa and they're notable performers?
Some others seem a bit off too, but these really stood out..

"Brad Richards: 21 goals and 41 goals for 62 points in only 63 games, recipient of the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2004"

"Daniel Alfredsson: 45 goals and 43 goals for 88 points in 107 games"

Wow alfie and richie are rocket candidates.
