Yeah that seems to be the Philly bar, that's where we all went for the Phils playoffs in October. Rotelli's is the Pitt bar, everywhere else is just a ****show of confusion except Pickles is a Phillies bar. Surprisingly its more like orange and black, periwinkle blue and white with some black and gold. Then there are just those one or two Rangers and Devils fans sprinkled in. This town may burn down if this series goes to 7 games.

Cool move by Lavi re: rookies

Quote:
The meeting between Laviolette and Matt Read, Brayden Schenn, Zac Rinaldo, Eric Wellwood, Marc-Andre Bourdon and Sean Couturier was simple and to the point. It didn’t last long.

“He told us he has confidence in us, always,” Bourdon said. “He thought we played really well this season. He wanted us to know that he knows we can do a great job. It was nice to hear.”

I like Bourdon and Lilja instead of Kubina. Bourdon looks like he did the first time he was called up pre-concussion and Lilja has shown that he is willing to use his size at least once in a while. I hope he crushes somebody like he did to Boulton earlier this year.

I know the Pens are favorites and should be - but how sweet would it be for the Flyers to win this series with 6 rookies?

If the pace is quick the Flyers willingness to use all 4 lines and their youth could be the determining factor. Also Bryzgalov has been better than Fleury since the beginning of March.

It would be pretty sick. I think it is fair to say the Flyers are underdogs, but I still think they will win. I also think that if they win, they are going all the way. I don't see them beating Pitt then losing to NYR or Boston or whomever they play next.

Sadly, I don't see that happening. I do think we can beat the pens, in fact I think we will beat them. I just don't see us beating NYR if we have to play them. I hope Ottawa somehow knocks them out.

If BOS, NYR, and NJD win we would play Boston rather than NYR. Maybe NJD could beat NYR

It would be a lot easier if Ottawa and Washington both win

What a series. I mean no other series could evoke the feeling of excitement/nerves/anxiety that I am currently experiencing. I am constantly on the edge of my seat. Using a punching bag then having a glass of wine prior to the start of the game in hopes that I can sit still during the game.

Let's do it!

Shaving in just under two hours.... hopefully for the last time in almost 2 months.

Something needs to occupy my time to kill the annual postseason jitters.
