Well unless the ECHL changes its rule the whites will only be the home jersey for half the season then they'll switch to the purple.
That rule is stupid, never understood it. They go back to whites at home in playoffs. I do know in our last regular season game at Wheeling, we wore our dark jerseys and they wore our home whites, so their must be exceptions in this rule somewhere.

Completely disagree with you about this and would love to see other leagues swap as well.
Agreed, actually. Think that would be a good idea for the NHL as well. They could even swap the order every other year, too.
2012-13 - colors at home first half of the season, whites at home second half of the season, colors at home in the playoffs.
2013-14 - whites at home first half of the season, colors at home second half of the season, whites at home in the playoffs.
2014-15 - colors at home first half of the season, whites at home second half of the season, colors at home in the playoffs.
2015-16 - whites at home first half of the season, colors at home second half of the season, whites at home in the playoffs.
etc.
etc.
Think that'd be a good, best of both worlds situation. Satiates people that prefer colors and whites and gives the added benefit of seeing much more variety in other teams' sweaters half the season.

If anything the home team should get the option to pick which sweater it wants to wear for each game.
That's a pretty sweet jersey.... I've always liked the Solar Bears nickname, logo and jersey. I still have the bear from my one trip to a game before they folded up shop.
I like the darker one, but with the secondary logo. It just seems that the text and logo are fighting to be more noticeable. The nice patterns were also a nice touch. The only thing is the contrasting nameplate color background. (white jersey, purple background, white name text) it just doesn't look right even though most ECHL teams have it that way.
