Ugh, I've been watching the game on NBCSports not realizing it was on CSN until now.

Seriously I feel as though Giroux is too small against Staal. Hartnell Needs to shadow Staal and knock him into next week.

A bit better period, we created a few chances and Fleury's made some nice stops. Two nice PK's, I am a bit disappointed that it didn't lead to more of a momentum swing in our favour though. Especially coupled with the goal gift we got.
We're giving them way too much space to operate with. Allowing them to move with speed through the neutral zone, backing off far deep into our own zone (sometimes it's forced since the back checking isn't quite there).
Schenn and Simmonds are having a really strong game, that line has been our best, no question about it. Coburn did a really good job on the PK's as well, and has been pretty good overall I think.
One goal closer though, pot one more early on and make this game really interesting.

Feeling responsible for Schenn's great game - got my Schenn jersey on right now. I'd LOVE to see him in JVR's beast mode through the playoffs.

Part of me hopes we shut Kennedy down. If Bryz is scared of bears, I hate to know what he thinks about Manbearpig
Much better showing in the 2nd. Need to pot an early one in the 3rd. Need to stop giving the Pens a reason to throw their heads back as the refs buy that **** seemingly every time.

and for the most part, that's the attitude you should have with young players.
There have been flashes from high talents like Schenn and JVR, but they are bums because they don't produce like generational talents @ age 21.
No patience...

Just saw the Rinaldo penalty...meh. I would have taken them both. Rinaldo for cross-checking and Neal for being a *****.

I've been a huge Schenn fan. I was ecstatic the day we got him.

One of the reasons why I think giroux could potentially be moved to couturier's wing or Schenns wing.
