And so it begins...
Flyers always lose everyone against the Pens in the playoffs.

Very physical game. Grossmann and MAB were getting punished.

Hope that Grossmann can handle all the abuse. I count on it, he's really tough.

I really hope this isn't another concussion for MAB's sake...

Can't hold on to the puck for as long as he did, in the playoffs. Hopefully he's just sore and can come back to play soon, and has learned from this experience. I have a feeling we'll need more than 7 defenders before the playoffs is over.

I agree. He has to be quicker with his decisions. Hope he is OK. Time for Kubina I guess.

They need to lock kubina in a cage and poke him with a sharp stick before the game to piss him off.

Kubina hasnt been good since he came back from injury, but I feel they have not much choice but to put him in there. Not sure Gus can deal what will be a very physcial playoff series. At least not yet.
i feel bad for Bourdon because hes played really well in the last few weeks for the most part. He needs to make better decisions with the puck, but that will come with time and experience.

He needs to play like he wants it. Hope yesterday inspired him. I'd have brought it him in regardless as Lilja gives me a heart-attack everytime he's out on the ice. I'm hoping he's had his wake-up call

Shades of 2010. Team hot going into playoffs, but lingering issues on the third D pair. Hopefully this is it for injuries.
