Yep. You pretty much had to know that Penner would come up with a BIG goal somewhere didn't ya?

Absolutely stoked for Penner!

Its hilarious how fans from about 20 different teams have stopped in to wish the Kings well.

We appreciate it guys. Nothing like unified hatred.

Richards, Mitchell, and Greene were our three best skaters. They went above and beyond the call of duty, and frankly played out of their ****ing heads. Greene has never played like that in the playoffs for us.

I don't know if Luongo can play better in net, but I know the Kings can play better hockey. That was a very mish-mash performance out there tonight, lots of good and quite a bit of bad (but no need to harp on it).

I can't believe there are people in here complaining about Kopitar and DD. Masochistic individuals who can't enjoy anything.

Richards showed us tonight why dean traded who he did for him.

This is the type of big game player he is...absolute domination out there by him....sure he could be invisible in the next, but he showed tonight what he brings in the playoffs...

Great game....Canucks fans are whining about the penalties but, u shoot the puck over the boards u go the box, simply put, .....not many of those calls were bad, they hade there chance im the third and blew it...

It's so nice living in Vancouver after a game like this...

Here is something the kings should be proud of

They have gotten the suppport of all the Calgary Flames fans and Oiler fans

any flame or oiler fan who is supporting the canucks are being asked to stop supporting the oilers at all

How to complete an "Alex Burrows hat trick":

1. CRUSH him.
2. Watch him dive.
3. See him choke on a play leading to a goal, EN or otherwise.

Ladies and gentlemen, in his LA Kings playoff premiere, We bring you Mike Richards!

Also, I said it on the main forum today, and you guys already know it, but Carter is the x-factor in this series.

Refs gave the Canucks their chances in the third. Kings dominated their pp. can't blame the refs for that.

Kings had possession of the puck way more than Vancouver. That will always lead to more penalties. Throwin the puck over the glass is automatic.

Canucks' first goal should have been disallowed. Refs werent great, but they helped both sides. Kings scored on the pp and the Canucks didn't.

3-2 league indeed. Kings finally played a game at their pace. Now it is time to do it at staples. Three more tough wins to advance.
