What a game. While frustrating to watch these guys fall behind so often, their compete level to come back in these games is incredible to watch.

I think we are all going to have to realize that this team is what it is. start slow, fall behind sometimes by multiple goals. Dont quit. keep fighting. dont stop skating. Sometimes we come all the way back, other times not so much.
I said it late in the regular season. You are what you are, and tonight was a pefect example of that. Its not the best way to win, but its the Flyers way.
I do love this team for the fight this team has and how incredibily resiliant this team is. We have had all these rookies in the lineup. Other guys playing playoff hockey for the 1st time and little to nothing fazes them.
Down 3-0 to Pittsburgh, on the road. Briere got us going, but the kids sealed the deal.

Just did a quick read through of the two GDTs.

Nice emotional roller coaster, kids. How can anyone count this team out?

Fleury wasn't that bad he actually saved a lot of goals in 1st and 2nd.
Great comeback, loved it, but we really, really should play from 1st period next time , pretty please

Luke Schenn was probably watching the game at home with his folks, his mom probably turned to him and said "why can't you be a good hockey player, like your brother" and Luke responds "But Moooooooom!"

I could seriously watch the highlights from last night game all day long. I watched SportsNite last night, SportsRise this morning, NHL tonight this morning, and SportsCenter last night (OMG THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED IT). It still hasn't gotten old.

You know carter would have hit fleury's pad or something. That trade is so one sided. The richie trade is working out for both teams, since he and schenn are both in beast mode. Schenn might be a rookie but he knows how to play in big games.

Now if they could just fix the spotting the other team at least 2 goals thing, that would be great, stress is killing me!!

So is it just me, or is Jordan Staal just really nothing special.

Been hearing all season with Crosby out, and now going into the play offs how amazing Staal is and how he one of the keys to the pens somehow making the Flyers look like they never picked up a hockey stick.

But yet again, he shows how hes really nothing special as he whacks ineffectively at vorachek scoring the winner. I swear everytime I see him on the ice against ther Flyers he's just getting the puck taken off his stick, or ridden into the boards like a cheap rodeo bull.

Maybe its just the Flyers playing him well, but I can't believe his ineffectiveness only comes through against the Flyers.

...(minus the 2 on 1 assist )

that was a great assist on the Kennedy goal, and he did help shut Giroux down, but him and Letang got embarrassed on the Voracek goal

I've just read thing posted by a fan on one Czech site which made me smile - that Jagr actually really likes when people boo him in Pittsburgh. Therefore he can have his head up all the time and doesn't need to check if the puck is still on his stick

I don't want to ***** about officiating because the whole Briere thing. But did anyone notice how the Pens were targeting and banging Grossman early and often which is fine. But they were pretty much doing what Rinaldo got a 5 and a game for on Saturday (different refs than saturday I know) and then when Giroux does it to Orpik he gets called for boarding. Maybe it's just me cause I thought the Giroux call could have absolutely gone either way but if they gonna call that, then call pens for doing same to Grossman.

And the difference in Doc Emricks voice when the Flyers score compared to Pitt is just laughable. I actually like Doc too but what a joke stop being so obvious. Same for Pierre when they show replays of the goals. Maybe because they in Pitts barn and get caught up with crowds reaction but I thought that it's pretty funny

Giroux call was laughable. He pushed Orpik lightly with 1 hand

It's great that they do that, but the well has to run dry eventually. They have to start better. There's going to be games in the playoffs where you have to win with 2 goals.
