That's my point. Neither trade is very close value wise. Siemens is very likely the Avs most untouchable and valuable prospect to the team because of his upside as a big, fast, LHD.

Now I like Gaunce a lot, more than some Avs fans, but he's definitely much more likely to be traded than Siemens.

That said, neither one is going to be moved for another winger that doesn't have first line sniping skills. With Downie, McGinn, Landeskog, Mueller, Jones and Olver the Avs have a lot of good, well rounded wingers, so they don't really need another one. Top line goal scorer like Eberle would be a completely different discussion, but a guy like Paajarvi isn't that exciting to an Avs team that fell just short of the playoffs this season and wants to make it in next season.

Weren't a lot of Oilers fans complaining about MPS's lack of hands? Saying he was "all speed, stone hands"?

He has great hands. the problem is he doesn't utilize that. He does the same thing every time, Drive wide and either shoot a weak shot or get it blocked. He has the toolbox.

Maybe I extrapolated what fans were saying about Cogliano...?

I used to think of him as a rich mans Viktor Stålberg, but I'm starting to think that might be unfair to Stålberg.
I feel like most things I know in-depth about players in the NHL, I know from reading your posts.

I'd probably do it for Schenn if you make it a second round pick.
