That's my point. Neither trade is very close value wise. Siemens is very likely the Avs most untouchable and valuable prospect to the team because of his upside as a big, fast, LHD.
Now I like Gaunce a lot,more than some Avs fans, but he's definitely much more likely to be traded than Siemens.
That said, neither one is going to be moved for another winger that doesn't have first line sniping skills. With Downie, McGinn, Landeskog, Mueller, Jones and Olver the Avs have a lot of good, well rounded wingers, so they don't really need another one. Top line goal scorer like Eberle would be a completely different discussion, but a guy like Paajarvi isn't that exciting to an Avs team that fell just short of the playoffs this season and wants to make it in next season.
