Who do they throw out there to take important draws now? If that is a consideration, you'd have to think Halpern would be getting a jersey instead of Knuble.
I'd prefer both to be in really.
I don't understand the Halpern thing. He made a couple bumbling PHYSICAL errors in the Winnipeg game and has been in the doghouse since. I really don't get that at all since he's been pretty good this year.

Comprehension is not a requisite for cooperation.

lot needs to happen. ovi = ovi, not slowvi. semin does something. carlzner plays like its 2011. wideschultz dont make too many epic mistakes. holtby the same. hunters nuts dont shrivel so much that you need a scope to find 'em.
Once the puck drops/Caps lead by a goal in one of the games I wonder if we'll still see all of these "apathetic" people.
zero if they lead. no real fans at least. its impossible. i know from experience as will anyone else who tries to stay realistic. im as negative as anyone in general and always think "typical caps" if the opponent goes up 2-0 after 10, but cant help myself when the good guys have it going on. just cant. with a realistic head right now, i say the caps taking game 1 is only well and good for their 1 or 2 Ws in this series, but come 10pm ET if theyve got more goals on the board than b-town i know i wont be thinking like that.
In the past couple of years the caps were the fav. Now they are the underdog, maybe the pressure is off this team and maybe they can come out and play like the fans know they can.
Boston yes.
Pittsburgh doesn't have a rock #1 dman.
Nashville doesn't have good center depth.
San Jose doesn't have a rock #1 dman or a good goalie.
Ottawa doesn't have any of the 3.
Posted this on the main board. 11-1 with young guns in the lineup, outscoring opponents 46-24, inuding games against PHI, NYR, PIT, DET, NJD, OTT, FLA x2 (all playoff teams).
I really feel like this team can do some damage. Remins me of Philly vs NJD in 2010. Philly beats NYR in last game to make the playoffs, and get the 7th seed (just like us). NJ thought they were going far with Kovalchuk (just like Boston since they won last year). But Philly played like the team it was supposed to be finally (just like us as we've had many key injuries) and beat NJ on it's way to the SCF.
