Can Etem play in the AHL playoffs? Isn't there a clear day roster? Or does that only apply to NHL players?

We've seen college players join late, though. And Holland ended up playing like 3 late games last year.

He can. Players coming from juniors don't count against the clear day roster if I remember correctly. Which is why Bobkov can play in the playoffs.

Thanks, I knew juniors used to be able to play in the AHL playoffs once their junior season finished but wasn't sure if it was still the case.

If he does join then Syracuse is looking pretty stacked for their playoff run. Hopefully they draw St Johns and not Norfolk (who have won 25 straight) in the first round.

Rakell scored a goal. Gibson is holding strong through two periods.

Medicine Hat is officially eliminated. Could we see Etem in Syracuse this Friday?

Etem 0G 1A -1

Pretty poor showing for him this series (0G 1A -4) - just a bad match up for him or did the suspension mess with his head?

^they played a much better team, plus he basically missed 2 games
John Gibson stopped 38 of 39 shots, goes to 6-2 in the playoffs, .950% and also had an assist

Stops every shot but the one scored by a Duck prospect. Gotta help your brother out. I consider that GA a second assist.

Gibson is the sole reason Kitchener won last night. In the first 10 minutes of the game, he was the only Ranger to show up. They were being outshot 12-1 when Plymouth scored; then the rest of the Rangers started playing.

Gibson made 41 saves as the Rangers force a game 7 by winning 4-2. Game 7 will be on Tuesday. If they win they will play the Knights in the Coference Final. Go Gibson! (Sorry Rakell)

Pscrunchhockey said Holland was feeling better today. Yeah, he probably had/has a mild concussion.

I don't think this was posted yet but, William Karlsson recently signed a contract with HV71, one of the most successfull teams in the SEL over the last 10 years.

Might not recieve a lot of ice time though. Notable forwards on the team: Johan Davidsson, Jason Krog, Jesse Joensuu (all former NHL'ers), Per Ledin (played a few NHL games, many times on the national team), Jesper Fasth (very promising Rangers prospect, currently on Sweden's WHC roster), Oscar Sundh (some national team experience as well) and Jukka Voutilainen (lot of experience with the finnish national team).

On the other hand, if he even manages to break the 3rd line he should be surrounded with some decent talent. And Johan Davidsson should be a great mentor.

That's a great team to be in!
