1) Edmonton Oilers: Nail Yakupov: No brainer here, they pick the BPA and keep on stacking future stars.
2) Columbus Blue Jackets: Mikhail Grigorenko: A big center than can play is the number one asset when rebuilding a team, they could easily pass on him though.
3) Montreal Canadiens : Alexander Galchenyuk: Big center than can skate and has slick hands, can't go wrong here.
4) New york islanders : Filip Forsberg: They have solid center depth but they need wingers, Parenteu is most likely walking away.

8) Carolina hurricanes : Radek Faksa: Big center hat has risen on most charts, will fit well in Carolina.
9) Winnipeg Jets: Griffin Reinhart: They have been allowing lots of goals and need defensive minded d-man.
10) Tampa bay lighning : Morgan Rielly: Great puck mover that micght surprise and go top 6-7, won't go past Tampa.
11) Washington Capitals : Cody Ceci: With two picks in the bank they select the BPA at 11. Big dmen that can skate, shoot and defend needs to use his size to his advantage more.

13) Dallas stars : Sebatien Collberg: Offensive minded player to a defensive minded team, they are getting older and slower after Oleksiak they need some offense this year.
14) Calgary Flames : Brendan Gaunce: Just seems like the kind of player Calgary would love, hope he develops well considering Flames prospect haven't been know to pan out.
15) Ottawa Senators : Teuvo Teravainen: Some people consider him as the 5th best forward, just lacks the size, would thrive in Ottawa playing in the right conditions.
16)Washington Capitals : Zemgus Girgensons: They would love to get Gaunce here but go for a similar player that has the potential to be a great two way forward.
17) Florida Panthers : Derrick Pouliot: They simply take the BPA here, they have prospects at all positions and have no trouble picking BPA.
18) Columbus Blue Jackets : Andrei Vasilievski: With Grigorenko drafted, they go for another Russian, Russians are known to kind of need other Russians playing alongside them. The need for a goalie is also huge in Columbus, he might also just be the BPA, won't be shocked to see him go in the top 15.
19) San Jose Sharks : Colton Sissons: Has been buzzing lately and is the kind of character player that the Sharks need.
20) Phoenix Cyotes : Thomas Hertl: With Hanzal playing a huge role they bring in a fellow czech that will learn from him and can potentially have a similar style.
21) Chicago Blackhawks : Malcolm Subban: Another team with goalie troubles go with the best goalie available at this point.
22) New jersey devils : forfiet pic to no one's surprise

25) Philedelphia Flyers : Tom Wilson: Philly grabs the one forward which fits it's team phylosophy.
26) Buffalo Sabres : Martin Frk: Risky pick but can show lots of reward, if he and Armia pan out, watch out for Buffalo's goalscoring.
27) Pittsburgh Penguins : Mathew Finn: Solid D player that seems to be a safe player.
28) St louis Blues : Ludvik Bystrom: Blues go for the Swedish Dmen, has had a good season and will most likely go in the 1st.
29) New york Rangers : Pontus Aberg: Their system is full of quality Dmen so they go with a forward that has shown stability as a forward in a men league.
30) vancouver Canucks : Dalton thrower: Just what the doctor ordered, a rugged dman that can play and fight, perfect fit for their needs.

nice one ! while i believe there is a very good chance Columbus takes Grigorenko at #2 i don't think they will draft another Russian in the first round ... i feel they take Subban if he is there @ LA's pick , if he is not there they draft BPA and Dansk @31 if Subban is gone
Out of all of the top 5 teams to comment on their defence being a mess... you pick Toronto? Seems to me the Leafs have more quality defenceman in their system than most of the teams above them.
While I and most Leaf fans are hoping that one of the top 4 forwards fall to us, we will all gladly take the consensus 2nd/3rd BPA in the draft.
No chance Columbus takes Grigo. They definitely take Murray/Forsberg/Galchenyuk. Also Islanders scout basically said at the draft lottery they are looking to take a dman so maybe take that into account.

For a team getting ready for the playoffs that would be an excellent pick, so would Colberg or Gaunce. Ceci falling a tad bit would be huge as Sens system is already flush with high end forwards but lacking high end dman. But then again with Karlsson and Cowen @ 21 and 20 respectively, it probably isn't an urgent need. So you take BPA as you would have anyways.
You'd rather have the 2nd best goalie (Subban) than the first one (Vasi) simply because Vasilevski is Russian?
From what I've heard (and I have no ability to evaluate goalies myself, so I have to rely on others), there's not a major difference between Subban and Vasilevski. As overblown as the "Russian Factor" can be, the later in the draft a Russian player is picked, the greater the risk that he not "suffer through" an NHL ELC. Columbus is likely to be a bit gunshy on Russians because of how delicate their PR front has to be. If the difference between them isn't great, I would certainly say Columbus should pick the non-Russian. If we're talking about a different franchise, it might be a different story though.

No way flames pass on Teravainen, if hes available Feaster will take him... he has no problem taking on a risk on size as he did with bartschi and gaudreau even tho bartshci isnt all that small.

i have a feeling that gm's love thrower and it only takes one to nab him at a little bit higher than expected and i could see philly doing that, especially due to pronger (ageing and injury), i could see them drafting him.
I personally feel that the Blue Jackets "fear" of Russians is way overblown. They drafted Filatov and Zherdev who were both Russian trained prospects whereas the top two this year have grown in the CHL. Scouting players in the CHL seems to be less of a crapshoot than scouting those playing overseas. I can't see Columbus passing up on an opportunity to draft Grigs or Yakupov given the chance, unless they decide to trade down to acquire more assets.
