Mind blowing really is the only way to describe it. It's very far fetched but it draws you in and you start to think, "is this REALLY possible?". When I saw the season 1 finale, the final scene gave me chills that didn't go away for about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, much like the two shows I listed above, it will be cancelled soon. There is speculation about it plus it was given the Friday night time slot this season which we all know is the kiss of death.
I like it. I just started Season 3.

How many seasons have been made?

It's just amazing. They were pretty good when I saw them closely defeat BPort twice back in December, but what they've been doing is amazing.

They're getting everything - goaltending, the AHL's top Dman, a load of help from guys sent back down from TB, their forward. I mean, sheesh, where the heck did Conacher come from?

Ok, he went to Canisius, but he's been a major find.

They are currently in season 4. I still haven't heard an official word on whether or not they will cancel after this season. I am hoping they don't.

The show is fairly popular but it should be bigger than it is. I think shows based on science (however far fetched this show is) are tough to really encompass a large group of viewers. Many are too simple minded with their entertainment choices that they don't give shows like this a chance. Shows that make you actually think. People would rather watch jersey shore. Damn shame.

Im working. Lots to do.

But I am coming here on lunch breaks and reading about isles fans bursting into sudden flames as they get angry that there is nothing new on the arena, or that Cappy wont be fired, or that Snow is still the GM...

It cracks me up.

Why?

Because if you honestly expected anything else, you were lying to yourself.

Here's a tip....

At the draft — Garth Snow will be picking at #4, and I expect him to take a d-man this time.

On July 1 — dont keep hitting refresh over, and over, and over on your twitter page waiting with urgency to see that Zach Parise and Ryan Suter have signed 6 year deals with the Isles. You are only going to hurt yourself constantly hitting refresh, and possibly crash your computer or smart phone.

The man just announced that he is standing pat on the roster with minor tweaks, and the owner said the coach and GM are remaining here. July 1 has been uneventful for years, and until the team is either a) competitive or b) in a new building — nothing exciting is going to happen.

So lets all relax. Take in the playoffs hoping that the Pens are all in the hospital by the time the 1st round is over, and they have been eliminated and the Rangers are in the next hospital room....

Seriously — my hockey hope this summer — seeing anyone other then the Rangers, Penguins, Bruins or Canucks win the cup.

Regardless of what Snow has said, expect a few of our posters to react with outrage when the isles have a quiet July 1st

More than likely lurking on here until the fall. Or posting more often. Who knows.

Will definitely be laughing at dozens of awful Islander related trade proposals, many by Leafs fans giving up crap for Tavares.

Well, tax season is finally over for me. Gonna enjoy some playoff hockey, hopefully a nice playoff run by the Knicks and be occupied with the NFL and NBA drafts.
