this is a terrible deal for Anaheim, one of the worst i've seen considering Etem is one of the best prospects in the League, Holland is a PPG center in the AHL, DSP is going to be a premier power foward, and 6th overall was likely Dumba, Forsberg, along those lines. wow that is terrible

The Rangers understand they are taking on an aging player, but we feel adding Marty back with Brad Richards and Torts will help keep his legs under him. We love the idea of adding such a great veteran leader to our very young team as well.

With the Hurricanes' system stocked pretty well with defenseman, I felt I could deal from that position of strength to improve a weakness in the system. Holland is coming off a very impressive year, statistically, in the WHL and we hope to see that production translate to the next level.
