i know you all just saw the replay of the wideman "boarding" he looked right at the ref after
It was a horrible call. The very definition of "turning into the hit". What the hell was Krejci supposed to do? He was going in and at the last nano second Wideman turns.
That's usually what people do after they feel like they had a penalty committed against them. He certainly wasn't diving if that's what you were insinuating.
I never insinuated he dived, he did turn last second purposely though.
Watching the replay of the krejci hit on wiffman. If I remember right they were good friends and road bunk mates during dw's days as a bruin. You could tell David felt bad and was worried that he might be hurt. Glad Dennis is ok though.
Peverly has no business at the point, sorry but it ain't working.
On another note, I thought Greg Millen got let go by CBC after the Bos-Buf series back in 2010. Expect a Braden Holtby love-fest from Millen all series long.
I just don't get why we haven't done something drastic to our pp. Just try anything. Chara infront worked for 1pp goal last year haha. Holtby probably feels really good about himself. We should've had at least a goal by now. Love the physical play though.
too much trying to beat the d 1 on 1 and losing the puck. If you have no play dump and chase, we can easily get on this d core. Also we need to throw the puck at the net on the PP, look at Richards goal last night, never know what can happen.
We need to get that first goal. Put some doubt in their minds. Don't want them thinking they can weather the physical game and steal one.
We are playing our game. If we can't beat a team that is legendary for wilting once the heat is turned up playing our game then we don't deserve anything.
Keep banging, keep getting traffic and shots, we'll get a few. It's not Pat Roy back there.
I thought that was a solid first period, aside from the score. The Bruins really imposed their physical play and, as both the game and series go on, it will wear the Caps down. I'll give credit to Holtby, he didn't look shaky. We'll find out just how good he is as the series goes on. A new goalie always has the advantage because the shooters haven't seen him, much like a pitcher in baseball. We'll see the real Holtby when the Bs figure out his tendencies.

I agree Krejci just stopped everything to make sure Wideman was alright right after the hit.
