Does anyone have any Inaugural game jerseys for trade or sale?
I was fortunate enough to purchase two jerseys from that game. They were priced between 1,000 and 2,500 (which I think was a bargain). I think you will have a hard time finding somebody that will part with their Game 1 jersey. If you do, they will likely charge more than the original cost listed above. Good luck in your hunt.
I got a Hart and Art Ross gamer for 500 bucks... Henrik Sedin... so to pay 1,000-2,000 for some no names in comparison, it's going to be hard to do. I am not saying they are no names. Relax. But Hart and Art Ross winners, they are not. Gritty depth guys to decent top-six scorers, for sure.
However, I do need a Jets jersey. I will only go gamer, since that is the only jerseys I own in my collection, which is now reaching double digit numbers. I even own Cody Hodgson's first ever professional game worn, with the Calder Cup patch. His entire Calder Cup home-set in that jersey. The aways were given to the players at the end of their run.

Good luck. It's not a question of what an average player is worth compared to an Art Ross player. The name on these Jet Jerseys isn't all that important.. They are year 1 / game 1 jerseys, never to happen again. I know I won't be trading my jersey or selling it.

If you are in Winnipeg only the Jets Gear stores are licensed to sew the inaugural patches on the Jersey, however you can buy the patch from other locations and find a tailor to sew it on for you if you want. I don't know how this works outside of Winnipeg. Your best bet is to call the location you plan on sending the Jersey to and see if they can do that for you.

99% sure only Jets gear has the patches. You can pay them there and have sportchek or pro hockey life crest it for you. No other retailers sell the patch though.

Slightly related question...at the final home game did they do the "shirts off our back" thing? Would be pretty cool to get a shirt off of a players back from the first season.

Yes they did. Everyone who had a ticket for the game on Saturday was entered into the draw.
Not sure how they did it in Atlanta, but right after Saturday's game, they had the fans come out on the ice to be presented with their jersey by the respective player.

I was wondering though how those people who won the jerseys were going to handle it, if just by chance they happened to be at that game, but share the seats with a bunch of people.

It was written bids and was located between JetsGear and Moxie's. Bids started at $500 for Flood, Maxwell, Stuart, Hainsey and Jaffray. Byfuglien started at $1500. It was the only Silent Auction of the season for Game-Worn Jets jerseys.

Unfortunate that I missed it but I didn't wander the concourse much. Good starting prices, I beleive all those jerseys to be $1000 and the Buff $2500. Nice way to get a discounted game worn.
I don't know where to post this, but if someone can let me know where I can list a brand new authentic Pavelec jersey size 54 (not game worn) that was won at an auction by a co-worker I would appreciate it.
He's asking a crazy cheap price too ($200 firm). I would buy it right now if I didn't own one already. Anyone can PM me for pics or mods can point me in the right direction of where to place this. This jersey is $299.99 at Jets Gear and $90 for the customization.
