Is there any reason for why if you click on Mike Morrison's name on the Top Goalies section it has him playing for both Peterborough and now Niagara this year? Was there another goalie trade there considering they just got Festerani?

Reason: Nevermind, doesn't seem to do it now...
How has Beukeboom looked in his few games so far? Are Dog fans happy with the trade?
He's improving each game. Perfect for our 2nd pairing (still need to find him a partner for that). Good Positioning though, decent outlet passes, hits when he needs to. I think he'll be a solid pickup come playoff time.

I was watching a Niagara game last week, and you can see the improvement with the pickup of Oleksiak. At one point of the game when Oleksiak and Hamilton were on the back end and their end was covered board to board. That size is just a huge factor. They look very solid out there.

They're going to be very difficult to beat in their own barn with those 2 giants on defence and the loud sold out crowds.
Went out to watch the St. Mike's Buzzers the other day and came out really impressed with the improvement of Ice Dogs prospect Ian Edmondson. Developing into a real solid shut down defenseman, depending on whether he decides to go to the OHL, I fully expect him to be offered a spot.
That was lame. They still haven't figured out who the culprit was. It certainly isn't affecting our play in any way. That said, we've had to adapt somewhat to the way the Battalion play but we're doing just fine. Man I'm going to miss Friesen a tonne after this year. He's been awesome in the PO's so far. Hard to picture him not in an Ice Dog's sweater.
I was at the game tonight. Freddie was a beast. I was a little pissed that Lane went after Friesen like he did. He'll more than likely be suspended for that head shot. Our chance to sweep the series is on Thursday!
Big pickup for the Ice Dogs today as they have officially signed Anthony DiFruscia, their second round pick from 2011. Arguably one of their top players in the draft last year, fell out of the first round due to NCAA concerns.
Ian Edmondson had a strong Jr. A campaign, look for him to get considerations and possibly signing with the IceDogs within the next couple months.

So we sweep the series. We'll get some much needed rest before the 3rd Rd begins. Looks likes we could play the Colts in the 1st Rd, it's going to be an uphill battle for the 67's.
Freddie has played really well, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the series pans out against Ottawa. It will be tight series but I see Niagara winning in 5 or 6.

He sure has, along with a lot of the Dogs. Zanetti for the 67's did a stoopid yesterday and kicked Kuhnhackl in the head and he's suspended indefinitely. That should help them more but they still have to keep playing their game.
