Sad, really...he's getting injuries a player usually gets after a decade or so of playing. Power forwards need to be durable in order to succeed, and unfortunately Daze isn't that. Shame...he's a great talent.

Daze is not a power forward. Steve Sullivan plays a more physical game than he does. And most of his goals come at the end of the season when the team is mathematically eliminated. they should've traded Daze after his all-star season.
a ****y back is no joke. but it is possible to come back even after surgery.
It might be better for big eric to shut it down for the season, have the surgery and rehab... then again with a lockout pending.
his IR insurance would help offset the money chicago is going to have to shell out for a replacement goalie.
