I respect what Luc did on the ice, moreso than the respect I have for what Gretzky did on the ice. But does that mean those dudes will have equally incredible careers as GMs or coaches, respectively? No, it does not. Nostalgia over how great certain players performed during their playing careers should NEVER be used as a gauge when assessing how said players will perform later in life. I mean, you could, but it's borderline nepotism. If that's your mindset, then so be it. Many of you people have blinders on. It's up to you to determine whether it's in your best interests to remove them.
