Depends the dive. Pretending you're dead is one thing. Holding onto a stick to get the hook, well everyone does it, you gonna fine everyone?

when they came back after the lock-out they fined players for diving.


Why did they stop?

Better idea: Have those deemed guilty wear pink gloves the following game. Would serve as a type of shaming scarlet letter. Make sure the footage gets back to Swe - er, to wherever the accused hails from.

Lol. Have offenders replace the C on their jersey with a D for a month. Justification is that it helps officials identify divers and be aware of adjusting their calls vs those players accordingly.

League would never do anything publically about diving, because they just realized the stars they promote the most in the Sedins/Kesler/Crosby are some of the biggest offenders.
