I think it's exactly the same. Somewhere I read somebody say that they don't do commercial breaks.

Yotes win in a fitting fashion. Smith was the better goalie this game imo.

Or not. Nice job by the Coyotes after blowing it. Smith was great

Good for Hanzal. Former Red Deer Rebel.

Coyotes and fans are pretty happy.

Good hockey.

Horrid trade.
If he was still here he'd be the whipping boy. HF loved to **** on Rozy for no reason. He'd be a great bottom pairing D-man though.

Really want Phoenix to win the series and go far. I'm also really happy for the players, I'm sure it feels great to have that big crowd burst into cheers. So unfortunate that isn't the norm for them.

He would certainly be better than Bickel for our bottom pairing. But his price tag is just too much for a bottom pairing guy.

He wouldn't crack our top 4 now.

There's also no cap during the playoffs. I think we could have made him fit if we tried.

No way Phoenix was going to trade him. He means FAR more there, than he would have here. Probably shouldn't have traded him away to begin with.

But those are the breaks. In the long run, there is no room for him in the future. His cap space allows to grab a guy like Parise in this off season.

I don't want to get into another argument about Roszival.
Some loved him, some did not.

Mostly, I was glad when he went, and still do not mind even though Wolski was not at all a good fit.

Lots of posters here whose opinion I really respect, have maintained that Roszival was perceived unfairly. Since it is imporatant to come down clearly on one side of the fence or the other, and not in the middle, I am really happy for Roszival's success in Phoenix but I am even more happy that he left NYR. Happy he left.

Good luck to him, he is a good guy, obviously.

Nice hockey day. Rangers win in the afternoon and just got back from the Coyotes game. Phoenix is wearing Chicago down. The first goal came after they kept Chicago's 4th line on the ice for a minutes and a half. The winning goal came after an icing with fresh legs against wuinded players. The Coyotes hit everything that moved all night long and Chicago looked gassed throughout the latter stages of the game. Toews was the best player on the ice.

The atmosphere was great for Phoenix (about 85% Coyote fans) but about 2/3 of the excitement of a playoff game at The Garden.

Except that horrid trade is what gave McDonagh a spot in the lineup. I'm glad he got a half season and the playoffs in at the NHL level last year. Plus it gave us more cap space to land Richards in the summer. The only reason their would even be a spot for Rozsival on this team is because of Sauer's concussion.

Yep, in the long term it was/is the right move.

Next season Bickel isn't even on this team. The need for Rosival isn't even a question anymore.
