Okay. So the consensus opinion is largely unchanged. Kinda hoping this isn't just a regurgitation of any typical ranking. This is with the intent of improving Anaheim keep that in mind.

I could see this one getting interesting between Galchenyuk and Murray.
Personally I prefer Galchenyuk to Murray. It's close. But I think we can be a little comfortable with a trio of Fowler, Beauchemin, and Sbisa as a core on the blueline. Physical D can be added to that group, but the best teams have great center depth. We can afford to pass up Murray's responsibility for Galchenyuk's upside. We can't know for sure, but Galchenyuk could be first line center material if Getzlaf really does decline. Murray is the best defender in the draft, but I'm not sold on how useful he'll be. That, in my mind makes Galchenyuk the BPA to the Ducks.
Murray is rock solid is could play NHL now he is anchor in his own end he the best D man in class full of highly rated D men a back end of fowler and murray could take us far like another past D pairing did
A solid, legit #1 d-man is worth almost more than any other position. I.E. If you had to chose between drafting Chara or Malkin... To me its a no-brainer I'd take Chara.
But, its so unfun drafting a defenseman... especially when they are in college (no shultz reference) or might visit the AHL for a year or two.
with a top 6 pick, that NHL ready forward is just such tasty option.
I could never be an NHL GM, because I would probably spend every year searching the UFA market for a goalie, cuz I ain't spending more than a 5th rounder on that position
I'll stick with Galch, partially because we are deep on defense prospects (even without Schultz) and we need more centers into the system. Of course you can make the BPA argument that we just draft the BPA and then trade, but looking at what Anaheim needs , it's Galch.
Not because I'm Finnish or that he'd actually influence this poll in any way, but at least the latest lists have had him over Trouba, Reinhart and Dumba
if we going forward i go forsberg the kid has a great game elite offensive skills size speed compete level and been doing this in a mans league and being force at his own age group and he one of the youngest guys in draft glass while gally has only paid how many games this year and already had a big inj

He hasn't been there consistently. You could make a case for a lot of guys instead. I mean...sure I COULD add him....but I don't want to have too many options up there. Maybe when we get closer to 6.

Agreed kid is dynamic. There's a reason why scouts have in the top 5.
Murry would be a nice addition to our defensive core ,especially if we lose Schultz. While I'm personally hoping we get Trouba to help out with the back end, Murry is the bpa for the Ducks at number three imo.
