Francis and Jagr were two entirely different players and played completely different on the powerplay.

Crosby and Malkin both seek the half boards. Both want to QB the powerplay. It doesn't work.

Could really use a Hart-trophy-esque performance from Geno tonight.

I've seen the Penguins down 3-1, 2-0 and win series.

Penguins have been up 3-0, 2-0, 3-1 and lost series.

It's a marathon not a sprint. Lets win this one

And if Sid would recognize that Geno needs the right halfboards to get the most out of his impact on the PP and that he's best off staying on the left/center point to give us a different look, it'd work.

But it's a cluster**** even now. I'm all for simplifying things at this point. Let each of them have room on their own units and get shots to the net.

"Official Pittsburgh Penguins
Dustin Jeffrey, Deryk Engelland, Brian Strait, Richard Park, Eric Tangradi, Joe Vitale, Tyler Kennedy, Ben Lovejoy, Craig Adams, Marc-Andre Fleury and Brent Johnson took part in today's optional morning skate. "

I'm really starting to feel some guys just doesn't care enough. Most of the guys who showed some effort last game went to the optional skate

The skate was optional but I read that the whole team met at the Consol for a meeting. They care.

Anyone think Niskanen may be done for the series?

Bylsma says he'd like to get Crosby and Malkin about 21 minutes of ice time per game.

Sick GDT, awesome job. Love it!

We always seem to win when I play some Baddies so let's not stop with that.

Flower magic time!

Powerplay Salsa Dog will tonight be joined by Powerplay Salsa Puppy.
His specialities involve creating teary eyes and ripping thumbs of people.

Get it done boys, this is it!

I really think the Penguins could use Steve MacIntyre for this game. Flame me if you want but just having him on the ice makes a difference. I feel like we won our last game of the season (flyers game) because he puts other teams in check. Confidence and momentum play big parts in hockey, and sports in general, and I believe having a badass like Big Mac would bring confidence to our players

****ing awesome GDT. Only thin to do tonight - WIN.

It's going to be so frustrating and intense watching the game. If we win - everything is back on track. We lose - **** hits the fan.

Yeah I am not trying to be mean or anything, but MrBurgundy is right. I want no part of Big Mac on the ice in the playoffs.

Yeah, I'm a fan of Big Mac and enforcers, but no way in hell he should (or could) play in the playoffs. It would be like giving the Flyers a PP every time he's on the ice.

And let's not forget, the Flyers didn't do anything dirty or cheap last game. They played straight up hockey and kicked our ass.

Would give a kidney to see us go back to man defense (3 on 3 down low). Would give anything.

All clears - high off the glass and out. Be ****ing STRONG on the puck. Win this game!
