Wow, all 3 Pacific teams won the first game of their series. Could they all advance to the next round?

I think the Sharks will be the only team to advance to the 2nd round. I have nothing against the Blues, but I think they over achieved this season. Sharks' experience and Blues lack of also really helps out the Sharks.

And all were the underdogs. Well done to them. But I think SJ is the only one who'll make it to the second round, maybe Yotes too.

I don't think the Yotes or Kings advance. I could see the Sharks make it though.
It is the playoffs though. You just never know

the pacific is the toughest division in the nhl, that's why they have lower points % from the regular season

The Sharks will advance. Kings, not so sure about that.
Yotes, who knows, I hope so! They are my fave in the Pacific and I would love to see them go far in the playoffs this year. Got my tickets for Saturday night so I hope they can pull off another home win. I would hope to see them advance more than any of the other Pacific teams.
Wish the Stars had made it though
Which 2 Pacific teams would you like to see play each other the most in a future round?

Yeah, I think all 3 teams won't advance. Still as others have said it's the playoffs so you never know.

Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.

Don't let the final season point totals fool you into thinking the Pacific is weak. The Pacific is a very tough division, and all the teams beat each other up quite a bit, even the Ducks.

I think a WCF between LA and SJ would be absolutely insane, as unlikely as that is.

I love the Blues but they are a young team, wouldn't be surprised to see the Sharks advance but I sure hope the Blues could get out of the first round.

I think you can alter Jim Hughson's quote for this one:
"So much for pre-season numbers" (he said this after regular season started)

Could you imagine? NorCal and SoCal battle for WCF. The rivalry will be a few bar higher and no more those stupid dance off thing.

Let's hope it will be Atlantic against Pacific at the end. Perhaps Rangers vs. Kings.

Nah, central division is the toughest.
Detroit, Chicago Nashville, St. Louis. Columbus is a decent team ,but it's tough when you have to face those teams so many times a year.
