Nothing, because this series games are only played in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

The interviewer actually thought he speaking to Ryan Kesler (American), and not Kevin Bieksa (Canadian).

Jim Nill turned down the opportunity to be the Habs GM.

Naturally, the 2nd choice will be Pierre McGuire.

After two seasons that changed the way fans see the National Hockey League and its players, NHL COO John Collins confirmed that there will be a Season 3 for "HBO 24/7: Road To The NHL Winter Classic," featuring the Detroit Red Wings and the Toronto Maple Leafs. (...)

Collins said there are going to be two significant changes for next season's production, beginning with the fact the NHL will be more involved behind the scenes. (...)

The other significant change: The NHL expects to have a Canadian network partner in presenting "24/7" next season.

Dale Hunter not coming back. Caps are such a mess. Seems no one can/wants to coach Semin and the other guy.

I'm scared, though. He turned "the other guy" into a complete player. Did you see that Herculean effort on the series winning goal? OV is going to roar back!

I'm still not seeing what the big deal is with the Admirals streak.

In the Tampa organization, that is supposed to be normal behavior.

Not that I'm surprised, but I still held out some foolish foolish hope. Everybody needs to get their **** together and get this done.

The PA had the option to extend the current CBA by two years, IIRC. They used up both of those years, and I think they don't have any other option but to work on a new one.

I'm still a fan of a harakiri clause. If the NHL faces a work stoppage, both the NHL commissioner and NHLPA executive director are immediately fired, cannot work for those respective organizations again, and cannot become members of the HHOF in the builders category.

If they're already in, under that description, they're kicked out.

You know what I love about Sportsnet's coverage of the Memorial Cup?

No Milbury.

That's really the thing with non-NBC sports networks. They aren't ****ing infuriating.

It's also amazing that if Pierre McGuire were allowed in the building, he'd be telling everybody where these kids are currently playing, seeing as most of his grey matter is dedicated to identifying players with their junior teams.

How far does the rabbit hole go? Can he identify 95% of a given set of players respective teams when they were 11?

Smitty, Doan, Yandle, Hanzal will not be disciplined for their game 5 post-game comments, stick throwing, holding the ref, etc.

Also, one of the remaining NHL legends, Nicklas Lidstrom is expected to announce his retirement on Thursday.
