Mario Gotze v Christian Eriksen v Lucas da Silva

I usually don't keep up with players outside of England, which of these three AMs would you prefer if your club had a hole that needed filling?

Anyone whos seen them, what are these players strengths/weaknesses?

Götze is going to be an amazing player. He already reminds me of a young Scholes with added flair.

I love Götze but I haven't seen much of the other players I won't vote.

Götze's strengths are:
* technique
* intelligence and vision, he almost always makes the right decision
* great movement off the ball
* knows how to defend, presses and tracks back
* attitude, he's ambitious and confident but not full of himself

Weakness:
* not deadly in front of the goal
* average shot
* doesn't take direct free-kicks
* rather small
* not experienced enough obviously

Too early to say how good he could become but along with Pastore, Hazard,
Eriksen, Thiago and others he will be one of the top attacking midfielders
of the next 10 years imo.

I disagree with the "right decision". He can try to do too much. That happens with most young players though. But it's been two CL games that he tries to do everything by himself and that has ruined his team's attacks many times. Of course, when it works, everyone screams genius, but the problem was that it never worked in both games and he was really not helping.

Thiago, Pastore and Hazard are amazing and I would rank them above him (as of now). Eriksen I like a lot but he's not at the others' level IMO.

I guess you're right. Last season everything clicked for Dortmund so at least it looked like everything he tried seemed to work.

It's good that he now learns to deal with adversity.

Imo he should stay at Dortmund till 2014 and not move to a bigger club earlier than that. It's not like Dortmund and the Bundesliga is a bad place to develop.
In '14 he will be 22 just like Pastore is now.

I started to watch a lot of Lille and it's true, Hazard is more mature and calmer, he's going to be awesome!

I think Lucas will eventually be the better player at the end of the day. I'm voting for him.

Yeah, Gotze should stay put until he's seen as Bundesliga's best player. Then he can move abroad and face better teams every week.
It's the same for Hazard really, except he's already been L1's best player for more than a year (and he's only 20).

He's not a very flashy player and he's still improving a lot. He's not on the level of Gotze at all right now though.

Gotze. Plays a similar style to Mesut Ozil, and will probably surpass with in the next few years (maybe for Brazil 2014).

Gotze, for sure, but Lucas looks to be a good one for sure.

Lucas is a hell of a player, but I´m not quite sure if his game translates well in Europe. He could be the next Kaka. But right now our best player is Ganso, the guy just can´t stay healthy

I hear and read so much about Eriksen right now.
What exactly makes you say that. What aspects of his game are overrated?

Im sorry, but I do not share that opinion AT ALL!
Christian has been good in most games, many times being "alone" on the bloody pitch!

He is such an AWESOME passer, and gives so many sweet scoring chances that are wasted by not so talented players!

It is a foolish comment! Is Eden not overrated? Or what about Romelu Lukaku?

Anyways, this kid is 94 born, also danish, and also from the Ajax acedemy.

He is going to be world class.

In the U19 Champions League, his team reached the Final. On the way Victor Scored 2 and assisted on the last one in a 3-0 win over FCB in the quarters, and then goes on to score 3 and assist 2 in a 6-0 Thrashing of Liverpool FC in the Semis. Sadly Ajax lost to Inter Milan in the Final, even though Ajax were clearly the better team.
