Not yet demolition of the old Dynamo stadium(Which is underway) will continue until around August this year. I know a few people involved in the project and they want to push it to be one of the stadiums for the Football world cup in 2018 for Moscow(Only city allowed 2 stadiums at WC) only problem is that Luzhniki is guaranteed and the new Spartak Stadium will probably will be the other stadium. VTB will still be built. Actually 5 of the 2018 WC stadiums are already halfway through construction which is great.

Demolition is a part of actual reconstruction, you know. They should begin digging the ground soon. You can watch this interview of the project lead where he talks about schedule - http://dai.ly/Hb3Z6Z
3 years time frame sounds about right.
As for pics, not for fainthearted. - http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/v...1/A24C4943.jpg

Amazing Playoffs this year!!

This year's on ice product is no doubt better then the NHL. Just some amazing games and plays. KHL is really stepping up their media with all the youtube channels.

Best of conference finals:

Sejejs is not GM of Dinamo Riga anymore, he is replaced by Aigars Kalvītis. Reason? Where will Sejejs work?

Sorry for offtopic, but I'm just wondering, are you talking about these?

Rubin Kazan stadium (also for Universiade 2013)
Spartak Moscow stadium
Zenit St. Pete stadium
Luzhniki (it's not actully under reconstruction at the moment)
Dynamo Moscow's VTB Arena

or did I miss something? I'm actually watching the construction of football stadiums for football World Cup 2018 very closely, that's why I'm interested.

Thanks

Depressing news about next year PO rules. SO, best 5 in 1 round and over limits for legionaries.

1-1 after Omsk, I didn't like Ramo much in those games and now I have a feeling cup could go West for the first time. Certainly it's more plausible than in previous years of KHL. Though, we'll see.

Dunno about Ramo, but Yeryomenko has certainly turned back years. He has been real solid until know.
