If not, now's a perfect time. With the state rivalry and all, coupled with the succuess this Flyers team's expected to have this run.. how could you not be tempted to?

Already got a couple college buddies into the sport over the course of this year, and they're absolutely LOVING every minute of it.

Yes...last winter olympics (which most sports fans seem to watch) - I explained the game to my boyfriend in depth. He then kind of got on board with the playoffs and ever since he is obsessed with hockey. He says he loves the international aspect to the players and how different the trade process is - i.e. the roles that players have also being a part of it.

Well , I managed to convert my buddy from soccer to hockey; he's now a fan of the Flyers and Richards!
we wake up as possible as we can at 1 am to watch philly's game, sending text messages, it's quite fun !!
But it's the only one i could convert, hockey is not a very popular sport over here

Freshman year we had a kid from Arizona live next to us in the dorms, became one of my better friends but was a huge basketball guy. I guess my diehard attitude combined with him not being able to stand Steelers fans here (and by extension Pens) converted him taking Flyers nation out to the grand canyon state.

One of my friends wasn't a die hard football fan, but he followed the Eagles and didn't follow the Flyers at all. Got him into hockey a few years ago when the Flyers made it to the cup. Now he texts me during every game pretty much.

There are only stupid yinnzers around me. They can't understand how to wash their clothes, you can forget about being able to follow hockey.
