I think it says in the stanley cup playoff forums rules that if the home GDT does not have enough general info they will use the road GDT. So sadly I don't think our half assed GDTs would make it to the general forum.
Another question for a mod. Is it ok for me to put a clip from Pulp Fiction (Ezekiel 25:17) in the GDT, seeing as how it is related to our avatars. Our would it be considered off-topic.

This particular clip is borderline at best, in large part due to the execution at the end, and the words don't really relate all that well to a hockey series in general. Shortening it to just the "And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers." segment would work, or perhaps going with a different scene...but most of Pulp Fiction is NSFW so it's probably going to be pretty challenging to find a "clean" scene that's relevant.

Oh well I'll just leave it out, got the game 1 gdt pretty much done just need to add a couple small things. Will have it up early tommorow.

Hey guys, so Blanick and I agreed that I'll take care of the GDT's until we lose a game(He says I'm the "hot hand" ). Anyways the Ya Ma Goo has certainly served us well, but let's be honest the last few GDT's were overall pretty meh....And I was thinking since we have some time to really brainstorm between now and next round we could perhaps spice them up with some clever themes or other funny clips. So if anyone wants to help out with graphics/pics or has any cool ideas please share. Thanks

I say no matter what we stick with ya ma goo, its been working. I can maybe make some lineup pics similiar to what I did in the game 1 gdt and send them to in a pm.

I was thinking for one of the games a Blues Brothers themed GDT would be kind of neat. Can anyone with photoshop skills make a picture of Backes as Dan Aykroyd, and Hitchcock as John Belushi? We could also maybe make a line-up with all the Blues players dressed in the black suits with hats and sunglasses. What do you guys think???
