I wonder if stepan is hurt, he's been pretty bad for a few weeks now. Not the "I don't care" kind of bad, but the kind where he just can't seem to do ****.

I love watching Boyle make his detractors look silly. Oh ye of little faith...

Boyle was trash for half a season and only started playing like he did last season over the past month. If that makes me look silly, so be it.

The guy was never trash. Maybe not stellar...no where near trash.

People like to talk trash though....which can be pretty silly, yeah.

He was bad. Subpar 5 on 5 defense, no semblance of offensive production. He was a fantastic PKer all throughout, but other then that he was an overpaid average 4th liner that was getting way too much ice time because he would have a few games where he could look good defensively.

He turned the page around the middle of March and looks like the guy from the first half of last season now.

He had some bad games. Too many in fact. But bad is not trash. Trash is Lisin or Wolski. There were a number of games where he did some good things, but no scoring. People were working him over pretty good....were you one of them? I don't remember or care actually because it does not matter. I was confident that he would come around and prove his worth. It's Good for all of us to see him doing well.

Anisimov reminds me of the type of role player Charles Oakley was for the Knicks.

May not score alot of points but good defensively and does the non-glamourous stuff. Anisimov is great behind the net and in the corners, wins the battles. Physically powers himself to the lower net area with and without the puck. Draws defenders to him opening space for others.
