Has he ever played enough games to be considered streaky?
(Not that I am disagreeing with you, I am just not sure we ever saw enough of him to make a solid conclusion... then again, not a question we really want to find out at this time of the season!)
I believe that you don't have to play consecutive games to have a streak. But I completely understand where you are coming from.
Well, Engren allowed 4 goals as SA won last night. Then again, when the team can only score one goal, it doesn't matter much if they give up 2 or 200.
I would expect more from Thang/Beck/Latta/MvG but apparently isn't happening. (What's wrong with Latta? Didn't play last night)
MvG only has 3 goals in this calendar year, that doesn't help much. Thang hasn't done much this season since his hot streak in October and subsequent call-up.
Beck I thought would be adjusting to the AHL and dominating by now, but obviously that isn't happening yet... his stickhandling is still amazing to watch, too bad he can't finish half of the time.
The Ads' magic number sits at 4 with three games to go. The playoffs are looking like a realistic option ... but, they'll be an underdog needing to fight their way to advance.
I'd go to Chicago on a Saturday... now would I want to go to Rosemont?
That said, for as crappy as the AA is, I do like the view from the upper bowl. I wish that the BC would offer upper bowl seating, but understandable to leave it closed when they can't fill the lower bowl (unnecessary cleaning, staffing, etc).

You can't see from the lower seats in the AA. They are too flat!
An enormous win for the Ads tonight in Chicago! 2-1 in OT, Thang and Mueller with the goals, Blum with two assists.
I'll update playoff scenarios later but the Ads didn't clinch a spot tonight.
Okay here's the playoff scenario for the Ads.
Get a point tomorrow and they're in no matter what any other team does.
If they lose tomorrow without getting a point they can get in by.
A. San Antonio (vs OKC) losing in regulation.
B. Any Houston (vs Tex) loss.
I wouldn't count on much help from the Stars. They struggled in their home finale and Lukowich received a gamer .... we'll see if he even plays tomorrow. OKC looked better than their NHL affiliate tonight.
Screw it ... just beat the Checkers and win their way in.

Milwaukee has controlled their own destiny for about week. The won a bunch on the road, which should help in the playoffs.
Might have been closer if Charlotte didn't come out like it was "Slapshot". The Checkers received 5 minors in the first period and 10 overall. The Ads played it straight with one goal each in the first and second periods. Three goals were unassisted, two PPGs and one EN goal. Quite a game by Milwaukee!
Yep, new change with the shortened schedule. Higher seed also gets to decide whether they want the series to go 2-3 or 2-2-1.
Also, here's a video feature one of our local TV stations did a couple days ago on Juuso Puustinen. Talking about his broken kneecap and his World Championship in swamp soccer.
