I'm not sure my heart will be able to take this type of series. I got that sick feeling to my stomach. I hope it's just the Buffalo Wild Wings I had for dinner

So trotz says yip and co play a more detailed game. Where were those details tonight? Get Ellis, Wilson, Smith in.

Gonna try to remain positive...we only need to steal 1 game at the Joe. Would love to win both but all we need is 1 to get our home ice back

PP needs to improve. We cant expect anything with us not capitalizing on critical chances. A couple different bounces and that game was easily ours. God i cant believe its only game two. I might have a heart attack by the end of this series. We are definitely playing good enough to win, we just need to be more consistent. Loved Webers leadership at the end with that ruthless pinch to keep the puck alive then crash the net to bury a nasty backhander. Effort is there we just have to be better than detroit....

also i liked Yips game tonight, brought good tangibles. But that said id like to see wilson be in his place for a game. Willie needs a chance. He has pretty solid D, beter vision, same size, hitting abilities, with way better offensive IQ/skills than Yip, just my .02 cents

effort isn't in Suter's vocab. Trotz says wilson and smith don't have it either

now everyone knows why poile wanted sean coutuirer so bad...hes a don

he had a hattrick tonight and is on duty for shutting down malkin and his line......as a rookie.

Courturier is gunna be a solid player for years in this league.

The good news about this game is the guys can hold their heads up and know they outplayed Detroit the entire game. If Howard hadn't been a superman, Preds would have won.

It would not be good to go to Detroit after a devastating loss. While this one had to be frustrating, they can take encouragement from how they played.

Rinne has got to stop going down so quick on the wrist shots. Those two goals were pretty dang soft.

which is ironic because Wilson and Smith both bring great energy to their games. Smith is fast, has a hell of a shot. Wilson has size/hitting ability, nice hands, and is a smart player overall. Yip I see has age on both of them, but other than that i don't see a huge gap between Wilson and Yip. I wont argue smith that much only because of his style of play. And to be honest we dont need smith against the wings as of now, in my opinion....Wilson on the other hand, has the capability of filling Yips role.

I wouldnt say we outplayed them at all. I think we outplayed them in the 3rd period but Detroit def outplayed us most of the game.

Like its been said, every loose puck was usually met by a Red wings stick

Sorry, have to "pipe in" here! You have the best goalie in the league, who plays like "superman" 99 percent of the time! Last game he is the reason you won, so I guess they are even

The first two lines are MIA through 2 games and we are seriously *****ing about guys that are literally playing less than eight minutes?

No, Smith and Wilson aren't going to make any impact in that role either.
