Yes, it's very good. Found it a few weeks ago in Hudson. Haven't seen it anywhere since. Granted, I haven't been looking for it. I think it was limited but not too sure for how long...

I have, can't remember much about it though. It was good, not mind blowing or anything.

Velkopopovickı Kozel Premium isn't bad at all! I like the combination of hops and malt here. not overwhelmingly bitter but there is some nice sharpness.

Enjoying a pyramid apricot ale. Not bad. Also got fulton ipa and a scotch ale. Got an 8 pack sampler of whoever makes 8bit ale too.

I haven't but it sounds like something I should look into with a name like "Hoptimum."

Matt's has Sierra Nevada Torpedo on tap right now. Sooo good. They also have some of the best beer prices in town.

Similar. Might like this just a tad more. First time I've had it though so may just be the newness talking.

Could be. I think Hopslam is right there too, though.

Buddy of mine lives a block and a half away from Matt's - it's great.

Here's a great reason to go see the Twins.

Surly created a new beer to be sold exclusively at Target Field. It's a west coast IPA, and its name is Surly Bandwagon.

Here's the kicker; $7.75 for a 20-ounce cup (only $.50 more than a Budweiser). $8.75 gets you a 24 ouncer.

For ballpark prices, that is astounding.

The Surly cart can be found outside section 124 along third base. Hmm, that's the same side you'd enter if you hit the Fulton tap room before the game.

Anyone else tried Founders double trouble this year? I think it is outstanding! Hoptimum is good, but I don't think it is as good as some of the other double IPA's out there.

Slo-board night. My wife's brother a die-hard Bruins fan was visitin tonight. Loss was tough, but we tried to soften the edges..

Tonights menu:
Brooklyn American Ale
Keisari EloWehnä (weissbier)
Mallaskosken Kuohu Amber
Budejovicky Budvar + some Calvados leftovers

He invited our family to have some barbecue tomorrow, kids included. Ribs, chicken, corn, aubergine, marshmallow with chocolate.. Life could be worse.

Anyone else did the Vine Park bit?

Basically, you and a group pick out a type of beer and then brew it yourself in their kettles. It ferments for two weeks or so and then you go pick it up/bottle it. Each batch makes 12 and 1/2 gallons (equals to 6 cases of 72, 22oz, bottles).

A few friends and I are considering doing it and was wondering if anyone has any experience in it. Likely going with their 100% Evil IPA. Sounds interesting...

I don't know about that. I think I'd stick with the true professionals.
