seriously though- I hope Krejci doesn't win it for a few games....that thing looks like it weighs more than that vicious pane of glass that snuck up on him last night. His neck is gonna be sore for a while after that ambush.

by the way, I couldn't count them from the photo- does that chain have 16 links?

Let's Go Bruins!
Lauri from Tacoma
20 links for 20 dressed players

ok- that number makes sense. 16 might have been too tight a loop anyway.
couldn't Andy have found a heavier chain though?

Someone needs to slap a bruins sticker on the lock of that chain.

The Chain...was a cool song by Fleetwood Mac back in the day.

Did not care for the Tantric cover...

Mmmm no...if it came out in '77, I was 6 years away.

It's still a great song though.

Beastly bassline by McVie...and Fleetwood with that kick drum. Argh what a song. IIRC it was the only song on Rumours where the entire band is credited with the songwriting. (btw anyone who hasn't seen the DVD on the making of Rumours....do yourself a favor...order it now).

As for "hip"... are you kidding me? FM is hipper than ever.

I don't know about the chain. I'm a bit befuddled. Guess we'll see if it becomes as beloved as the jacket, but it looks a little weird at first glance. Uncomfortable to don.

The burden of sacrificing for your teammates. Or something along those lines appropriately metaphorical.
