I want the cup. Will I ask for changes if they don't make it there? No. But I'll be upset if it ends and there's not a big shinny trophy coming back to boston.

I mean is 15 more wins really to much to ask?

I know what you meant and you aren't a homer or someone who does not know better. You did, however, questions the Caps ability to bring it for several more games, in the playoffs you cannot do that...But I thought that game was extremely even and Washington got just what they wanted.

I guess I just don't see the Caps being able to put together 4 more perfect games. They played it perfectly last night, and still couldn't pull it out. IMO, if the Bruins bring that level of play throughout the rest of the series, Washington doesn't have much of a chance.

It's the Cup, sorry.

Because they're good enough.

I know this team will give it 100 percent and their very good. The further they go every game every series Im happier. The fact is theres a ton of luck that goes with winning the cup. Injuries play a huge part. I actually think their better this year than last year without a doubt. If you take a close look at last years 1st rd we were very very lucky to beat montreal if you listen to Ference in the championship video he says it. We beat montreal 4 times---1 double overtime 2 overtimes and 1 game we got early lead and just held on. Tampa Bay couldve went either way, Now Vancouver won all the squeakers against us---how we overcame that was totally great and amazing.

Wait...did the Rangers win their series? I thought it was 1-0.

I would say not going to the finals is a failure only because they knew they had an ostentatious hole (finisher) when Ryder left and Horton went down, and they decided not to address this. I understand not overpaying, but how often do you have a team that is this ready to win the Cup with Chara, Bergy, and THOMAS still at the top of his game? If they don't win it's the equivalent of the Celtics inexplicably moving Perk when the team was still a contender.

I think they can win the Cup with this team, but someone needs to step up and fill the Ryder and Horton roles. Looch and Seguin can finish, but they need to step it up to be as clutch as the two guys we are missing from last year. It's Cup or bust for me.
