The ISHL is a simulation league run by the members of thebreakaway.net (TBN). In the ISHL, regular forum members sign up for a “career” on one of these fantasy teams. A select few members will get the chance to operate and manage these teams, while still able to be a player. The ISHL player has a load of choices, from just signing up and watching their career with fellow forum-goers, or participating in full to try and garner control of a team one day. Everything is created by the community – jerseys, identities, logos. There’s everything from real hockey, and you could see yourself moved around via draft, free agency, or trade.

Run on the world’s best hockey simulation game, NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007, you can rest assured that the ISHL gives you the most complete, in-depth, and realistic hockey gameplay, statistics, and authentic experience anywhere.
