I thought if Friedman saw it, a relatively respected writer, those still defending the coaching staff would admit it. But they are even dismissing someone as credible as Friedman.
And Friedman was not wishy-washy about it. He called it bang on. Scouting. They scouted us hard. Kopitar was "waiting" for it.

This is one of the stupidest logic, I have seen in a while.
Because part of the game plan on the PP is to do a drop pass to gain entry, means you do a drop pass at the worst time?
Is Edler a robot? He does not have enough hockey sense to fake the drop pass and make kopitar out of position?
All coaches tell their players to shoot and skate, so if a player shoots the puck directly into their own net, we blame the coaches? If a player skates and hit himself against the boards, we blame the coaches?
The fact that I don't see a drop pass in every single breakout on the pp, tells me its not mandatory, rather dependent on the players decisions.
I mean this is common sense.
And trust me I hate AV as much as the other guy. I wanted him fired right after our first loss against Chi, we were outcoached quite blatantly.
