LGR! Need this one to move on. Game 2 is always the key game in any series.

Let's go Rangers! Winning this game will really capture the momentum from Ottawa before we head up there.

Not going to make any predictions but I'm expecting to keep seeing Cally lead the way with big contributions by the Top Line, Boyle and Arty.

Same as Game 1 for both teams.

Sens coach said he might put Alfredsson with Spezza though.

Does anyone know if they are doing the Blue Carpet thing again? (And the bus tours?)

And when do they open up?

I think that would be a bad idea for the Sens. That essentially leaves them with one legit scoring line. I'm not a big fan of Michalek as I do believe the reason to his success if primarily because of Spezza and Turris is still raw and would look lost without Alfie.

Don't know about the blue carpet but the buses start at 5 though they pulled off a little earlier than that on Thursday. People start lining up around 4ish.

Paul MacLean had Michalek - Spezza - Alfie on one line for practice.

I'd think Torts would match up the Boyle line against them and obviously McD-Girardi. You shut down that line and you win the game. That simple.

Obviously the Senators want to get more room for Karlsson to work his magic, Spezza too.
I am expecting a more physical game from Ottawa, more dump and chase with a hard forecheck. Their guys are going to challenge the most physical players like Callahan and Boyle more.
Will be interesting to see if they adjust their lineup, but other than Carkner they had their big boys playing in Game 1 anyways.

I admit that if Boyle ever utilized his frame the way that Callahan does, there would be crushed lifeless bodies all over the place.

He is doing his job really well by getting in the way. I like the way he is playing.

Big game. Spezza and Karlsson will undoubtedly become a serious factor at some point in this series, so it'd be nice to take a 2-0 lead to Ottawa before they do so.

Agreed, he's an incredibly effective defensive forward and has contributed offensively recently, but... he's still soft

Spezza and Alfredsson together will only help the Rangers, especially with 2nd change. Stick Boyle-Dubinsky-Fedotenko out there against them and the Senators offense goes away. Keep hitting Karlsson, he was awful last game. There support at that point is Nick "I'm gonna skate and stick-handle like an all-star" Foligno and a bunch of other average joes.

The Rangers effectively proved how dominant they can be when they play their game and outwork the opponent. Get on them early. LGR!

Here's a video of the anthem. I see it was not televised so here you guys go. Notice at the end, Spezza and Michalek skating around and the booing that ensued.

That's even worse than I remember. If I had been out there for the Rangers I would've gone over and said something.

We need to come out strong in this one. Set the pace and take it to then early. Get the crowd going early and we pick up a win. Gotta go up 2-0 and give OTT no hope going back to their house on Monday.

3-1 Rangers.

Very disrespectful.

Let's go into their building up 2-0.
