I keep wanting Johan Hedberg for so long now.....he would have been just as good if not better. But Budaj isn't a bad goalie.

And his size (small, that is). He's an acceptable backup who won't play many games with a slightly higher contract than lots of other fairly acceptable backups who are looking for work.

To sum up: meh.

I wasn't a fan of the signing at the time, but he looked better then I thought he would. But if Price were to miss a large amount of time I think we would be f'd in the a as our entire goalie depth has to be the worst in the NHL. I think this has to be the first time I ever the word amazing and Budag in the same sentence though.

As far a pluck handling goes, Price is top 3 in the league IMO. Budaj has a ways to go to get to that level.
