Same. My memory is horrible for stuff like this. Episode titles mean nothing to me neither.

-Terrence and Philip "Behind the Blow"
-Cartman Land
-Proper Condom Use

I saw an interview where Matt and Trey said they thought working on Team America during season 8 made it one of their weaker seasons and it was kind of disappointing. Never seen a fan that agreed.

I agree with the polls, season 8 was definitely the best South Park season. I enjoyed the episodes “Good Times with Weapons” “Something Wall-mart This Way comes” and “Awesom-o” from this season.

Same here. The quality has been so consistently good for so long that they've pretty much all blended together for me. Seasons 1-3 are the only ones that I'm able to somewhat differentiate from the others.

I'm going to be contrarian/hipster and say that South Park was funniest around season 2 or 3. There's plenty of pop culture episodes that are hilarious, but I loved the show most when the formula was just putting these foul-mouthed kids in the most ridiculous situations possible. HM to the season that introduced Towelie, which is by far my favorite South Park character and episode.

For me, it goes

Season 11, 8, 9.

Season 9 doesn't seem to be getting enough love imo. I laughed till I coughed at 'Marjorine'.
The episodes 'Ginger Kids' became an international phenomena with 'Gingers have no souls' and then Randy getting drunk and beating other dads up at baseball games in 'The Losing Edge' was beyond hilarious..."I thought this was America", The episode Wing, with the City Wok owner's wife had me howling. Die Hippy Die, was a great Cartman episode. And the 'Trapped in The Closet' shots at Scientology and Tom Cruise were epic.

One of the best season from beginning to end, imo.

If I had to pick one, season 2 is probably my favorite. I love early Cartman when he was just a fat, dumb, a-hole as opposed to the manipulative sociopath that he is now.

If I could combine my favorites of seasons 12 and 13 it would hands down be my favorite, 'Fishsticks', 'The Ungroundable', 'Major Boobage' are a few of my all time fav, and there's a whole bunch of really solid episodes.

7 and 3 would be my favorite complete seasons, and if they ever had a prime it probably was about 2-8.
Gonna go with 7 though for sure. 'Casa Bonita' 'It's Chistmas in Canada', 'All About Mormons', the list goes on

I tend to agree with this. I prefer the early to mid seasons much more than the later seasons. I just feel like their attempts to satirize current events is just so overt to the point of becoming uninteresting.

yeah, I agree. For all the laughs about Cartman ostracizing his friends and anti-Semitism and hatching grand schemes, I think his funniest moments are early on when he has absolutely no control over his emotions and temper.

the earlier episodes did it too (Chinpokomon, Harbucks), but only did it once or twice per season. The rest of the time the plot lines were so brilliantly original that a single one about pop culture was all the funnier.

the 2 I can't stand are "Britney's New Look" and "Dead Celebrities".

I think that there was 2 legit down years in season 15-16, because they were giving so much time to their play. (there are a few episodes I really like also)
But last season was brilliant, and I would far rather see less episodes of more quality again. I can see how doing 14 episodes in such a short time would be a huge toll, 10 seems alot more manageable.

I would take point on that if there was interest. Probably just do top 20 or 30. Thoughts on the format?

Seasons 5, 6, 7, and 8 are likely, IMO. Those are the only ones I wanted to own because they're so good.

Season 5 might be the most solid, start to finish, but the highlights from the others might give them the advantage. I can't shoose.

My picks for 6-8:

6: Fun With Veal, Simpsons Already Did It, Red Hot Catholic Love, Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society, Ladder to Heaven, Return/Fellowship/Ring, Red Sleigh Down

7: Krazy Kripples (one of the best IMO), South Park is Gay, Christian Rock Hard, Casa Bonita, All About the Mormons, Butt Out, Raisins, Christmas in Canada

8: Good Times w/Weapons, Up the Down Steroid, Passion of the Jew, You Got F'd in the A, Awesome-O, Jeffersons, Goobacks
