With Dwight now def out for the season, wonder if the Knicks can catch Orlando? Magic have a tough schedule outside of Charlotte, and I really think the Knicks could go 4-0 to finish the season.
Looking forward to the playoffs because I actually think they win a playoff game for the first time in 850934805 years.
Baby steps.
Yeah been waiting for this for years. Playoffs shoudl be fun, not expecting anythign special, but to win a few games and force a game 7 and scare the **** out of miami or chicago, that would be really fun.
Next year is the year, make a few moves, I would love for woodson to come back, but if Dolan and Co. could get Phil, that would be great, rather then that I dont want anyone else rather then Woodson.

Woodson certainly earned a return trip back next season.
They might run into issues keeping Lin , who will probably get offered the world to play elsewhere, but the Knicks are a legit 35-min a game point guard from being one of the top teams in the NBA.
16-6 under Woodson, with road wins against Indiana, Milwaukee, Philly, Atlanta and Orlando.

They can keep Lin for at least one more season. Maybe more depending on what contract he signs in the offseason. Larry Coon has tweeted about it several times.
Is the Lin thing something like a team can only offer the mid level for next year, but can give him more money the following years? You have to figure Brooklyn could do that if they lose Deron?

Wait, I heard rumors Prokhorov was going to go hard for him/ Were they talking about this season or next?
I'm not entirely sure but I think the Knicks safely have him with their MLE next year because of the Gilbert Arenas rule or whatever it is.
Yup.
He's an RFA btw, not a UFA, so he's really under their control. Knicks can match any offer, but if it's over like 2 mill or so I believe, it will then tie into their MLE. The Knicks can still match any offer, but if it's let's say 4/40 (first two years have to be MLE, so contract then is backloaded), it will then run them over the luxury tax.
