Claude does this every year, though. If there is a chance that he will be in the playoffs sometime, whether it's this round, or the fourth round, if they go that far, then Claude will not let the media know what is wrong with him and how long he will be out. Not a bad strategy, keeps the other team guessing and they don't know where he's ailing so they can't attack him there.

So what is the real story with McQuaid?

Nobody is saying.

He had an eye injury and I suspect it may be head injury (concussion) or maybe a neck strain. I know he has injured his neck in a couple of games (one last post season) and it may be a nagging injury.

The fact that he isn't traveling concerns me though. He misses games 3 and 4 for sure and it makes me think he likely won't be playing in this series at all.

I hope it isn't as bad as it could be. I heard Adam isn't even skating ...hope that isn't true.
