SALARY CAP Salary Cap • Using capgeek for ALL numbers • The salary cap maximum for the 2012-2013 season will be $65M, and the salary floor will be $53M. • NO GOING OVER THE CAP, NO GOING UNDER • Teams may have a roster of no more than 23 players by the end of the game. NO less than 21 • There will be no bonus cushion for the 2012-2013 season. • ENTRY LEVEL CONTRACT CHART , use this for prospects who need signed • NO cheating the cap buy removing players thinking no one notices • NO bringing in Scott Gomez or Wade Redden to reach the CAP FLOOR

WAIVERS/BUYOUTS Waivers/Buyouts • You can waive ONE player to the minors or Europe for cap relief. • Each team has the option of buying out ONE contract during the Entry Draft and Free Agency periods. • Waivers are a first come first serve basis • A player will be on waivers for 12 hours after the player was waived. • If a team claims a player off of waivers, he cannot be traded without clearing waivers, with his previous team having first priority

TRADES Trades • All trades must be sent to 1972 and TBA or else they are Veto’d • After sending in a trade you may post ONLY if it does not include high end players • If a trade is announced before being sent in it is veto’d • A trade involving a NTC or NMC must be sent in by BOTH GMs with a reasoning for the player to waive. The trade must be approved by the trade committee before you post. This will be as REALISTIC AS POSSIBLE, guys like St . Louis are not leaving Tampa. • Player must waive before the trade is posted • NO MEANS NO, If a trade is veto’d, or NTC is not waived, don’t complain

but you need to find some guys in the prospect board to fill this thing up...thats where plenty of these guys post more consistent

I think the 1972 league name throws some people off to be honest.
