Considering last year, does Vigneault or Gillis get fired?

I would love for a new coach especially since i dont like Vigneault's coaching strategy. I do like Gillis, but he has really ****ed the bed lately. The Ballard Deal, The Hodgson deal etc.

Considering what happened last year, would either be fired if we got swept? I would see Vigneault as a slight possibility, but instead i could see our bottom 6 and part of out top 6 and D getting changes such as Malhotra, Ballard, Raymond, Higgins, Tanev, Bieksa, Malhotra, Hansen etc. gone.

Two games into the first round, discussing who should be fired. Only in Vancouver.

AV has to get fired

his style of hockey is so fricken' boring, and don't even get me started on his gum

MG doesn't get fired, i've liked all his moves (majority)

Did you really just judge the Kassian/Hodgson deal after, what, like 20 games? Gillis is totally safe.

Beside, in fairness - though it wasn't techincally part of the deal - Pahlsson is a piece of that transaction.

Ballard you could argue hasn't performed to what he's worth but rarely has he been given the chance to IMO, and with injuries it doesn't help.

Who's even out there to replace Vigneault? You don't just fire somebody for the sake of it, and assume that coaches like Babcock/Hitchcock/etc. are waiting in line to be hired.

This would be an appropriate thread for the off season. I can't believe I have to remind some of you, but this series is far from over. Take it to the Arm Chair GM thread if you must.

MacT and Scott Arniel are the two notable candidates.

MacTavish is probably our next coach.
