I watched that first period in game one and had to leave my house. I left the house thinking Penguins in 5 at the most. Came home and was like . Yesterday I was like .

Flyers need one of games 3 or 4 in order to win the series. IMO they can't let up and need to start strong and get the Pens frustrated so they can continue to dominate on special teams. If Penguins take both road games, Flyers are in trouble. Winning game three would be best, but I'll take either one.

The players seem to be fired up.
If Brys settles in early instead of late, Pitts doesnt seem to stand a chance. Their getting scoring from their key guys as well as secondary. I picked them to win series but they have outdone even my expectations.

And then facing LA and then losing to Carter and Richards

They can keep this up until they play a team like the Rangers that knows how to shutdown a game and hold on to a lead. Every game against the Rangers the Flyers give up the lead and playing catch up against them has not worked out at all. They either need to use the of this series to learn how to win the first period or learn how to avoid the Rangers like the plague. I'm not sure they can learn the last part

I can only say this, as a Rangerfan if we played Pittsburg I'd be nervous until we won the 4th game.

Maybe they can hope for the Sens or Devils to pull off an upset? Realistically though, I completely agree. They CANNOT afford to give head starts to the Rangers should they meet them.

The pens dont seem to give a ****. Need a massive defensive rebuild. I think you guys got this one easy.

Even if they get past the Pens, the Flyers will need to tighten up for the rest of the playoffs. The Pens defensive play is just terrible and they're not going to score 4+ goals a game against teams that have solid defense, despite their terrific offensive depth.

As much as I hate the Flyers, they are exciting to watch that's for sure. Always gotta root for Danny B too.
